About Nexus
Nexus Theatre Company was founded in July 2017. The aim of the company is to create work at the interface between ground breaking research and creative arts: to be the central hub that brings two industries, that are often seen as opposites, together.
Collaboration with scientists, experts, audiences and focused workshop groups is at the heart of our work, and we continue to improve, adjust and learn.
We're looking to build theatre around a number of societal issues, and our current work, 'Power', looks at the impact of global environmental change on our world - and why it's such a complicated topic.
Our company includes performers with a range of skills - from singing and puppetry, to improv and radio. We look to bring all our expertise into use throughout our devising process, and our shows.
